ATMA 2020 AIMS Test For Management Admissions

ATMA is a reliable, wide-ranging and single-window test for admissions to various Post-Graduate Management Programs like MBA, PGDM, MCA, MMS and other management post graduate courses. ATMA is an online objective type entrance test which is accepted nationally. This test is acknowledged by AICTE and Ministry of HRD, Government of India and conducted across all the states in India.


ATMA seeks to become standard test in the world of management education. For appearing in ATMA exam, the student does not require any specific prior knowledge of business or other subject areas. The Test is designed to assess the aptitude of the candidate for higher management education and mainly consists of sections on verbal, quantitative and analytical reasoning skills.

ATMA 2020 Highlights

ATMA EXAM 2020 (AIMS Test for Management Admissions) will be conducted by the AIMS. ATMA is a national level entrance exam organized three to four times every year in the month of February, May and July to offer admissions into various Post graduate management courses. ATMA is carried out in computer based format in single sitting on a fixed date of the month.

ATMA 2020 exam gives you the opportunity to pursue MBA and other post graduate management programmes from Government and Private Universities. Candidates can go for MMS from the MBA colleges in Mumbai, Pune and other cities of Maharashtra as well as opt for updated PGDM Programmes from renowned private PGDM colleges in India.

ATMA 2020 - Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility criteria for ATMA EXAM 2020, candidates have to fill details regarding age and educational qualification in order to be eligible for the exam. As per ATMA eligibility criteria, applicants must completed graduation from a recognized university. Candidates who are appearing in final year of graduation can also apply for the exam. ATMA exam is conducted three to four times a year. Verification of the eligibility of the candidates will be done at the time of admission. If any candidate is found to be not eligible then he/she will not be entitled for the admission. The detail of eligibility criteria is given below.

ATMA 2020 - Reservation Criteria


No specific reservation criteria are there for ATMA Exam. Only relaxation is given in the minimum qualifying marks which is 5% relaxation is given to SC/ST/PWD candidates and in application fees, 25% concession is given to female candidates and 50% concession is given to candidates belonging to the North-Eastern states (Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim and Tripura).

ATMA 2020-Application Form

Registration for all three ATMA 2020 Exams, in the months of February, May, and July, opens more than a month before the ATMA exam date.  In a year, AIMS will conduct three to four time ATMA exams for MBA admission 2020. ATMA exams are conducted by AIMS (Association of Indian Management Schools)

Application Fee- Candidates have to submit the application form for ATMA exam through online mode and deposit fee of Rs.1298/- including GST. The duration of the exam is 3 hours. The ATMA Exam Fee includes the registration fee and application form fee.

Concession given in ATMA Application fee

The following Fee Concessions are given by AIMS in the ATMA 2020 Exam Registration Fee:  

  • 50% Concession in the fee is allowed for the Students from North East States(Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim and Tripura).
  • 25% Concession in the fee is given to the Female Candidates.

Mode of Payment: Candidates have to pay ATMA 2020 application fee through online mode only.

Steps to Apply for ATMA 2020 Registration Form:


Candidates have to follow the two main steps- Payment of fee and Filling the Registration Form. The steps are given below in detail:

Step 1: Payment of fee

For the registration of ATMA 2020 exam, the first step is fee payment through online mode. For that please follow the given points:

  • Go to the official website and click on the link 'Click here to register for ATMA exam'
  • The applicant will be redirected to the fee payment page
  • The applicant has to enter their personal details including email ID and mobile number.
  • Proceed to Fees Payment' button will appear, click on that.
  • For making payment, enter your debit or credit card details.
  • The applicant will be redirected to the fee payment page.
  • After payment will be made successful, a PID (Personal Identification Number) will be sent on registered email ID or on registered mobile number through SMS.
  • Save this ID for future use as this is used as Login ID for ATMA.

Step 2: Filling the Registration Form for ATMA 2020 


After submitting the registration fee, now candidate have to follow the given below steps to fill the registration form:

  • Candidates need to fill personal as well as other details like PID, name, postal address, email ID, date of birth, mobile number, preferred test city, educational qualification, the exact percentage of SSC, HSC, Degree, Post graduation, choice of institutes for reporting ATMA score.
  • Upload all the scanned copy of the documents required.
  • Upload the scanned copy of passport size photo and digital signature.
  • After filling the registration form the candidate will be given Login ID and password for future assistance. The login ID and password will be sent on the registered email ID.
  • Candidate should take a printout of ATMA registration form for future reference.

  • Scanned or digital copy of the photograph and signature.
  • Scanned copy of latest OBC (Non-creamy)/ SC/ ST/ DAP category certificate, if applicable.
  • Scanned copy of mark sheets of 10th, 12th and graduation certificate.
  • Sponsored candidates need to upload sponsoring certificate as per the format available on ATMA website.

ATMA 2020 - Admit card

ATMA admit card 2020 for May session will be out on May 21. Candidate can download the admit card from the official website of ATMA AIMS. Admit card for ATMA Exam 2020 can be downloaded by selecting the date of the exam and entering the PID number and password. Admit cards cannot be downloaded after the day of the exam.

ATMA 2020 - Exam Pattern


ATMA 2020 Exam is divided into three sections and each section was divided into two parts I and II. The sections are: Analytical Reasoning-I, Verbal Skills-I, Quantitative Skills -I, Analytical Reasoning-II, Verbal Skills-II, Quantitative Skills-II. The question paper is in the form of MCQ (Multiple choice questions).

For each correct answer, one mark will be given while 0.25 marks will be deducted for wrong answers. The exam duration will be 180 minutes or 3 hours.

ATMA 2020 - Result

AIMS will declare the ATMA exam result in less than a week’s time from the date of conducting ATMA exam. Candidate can download the ATMA Result Scorecard by using ATMA PID and Password on the official ATMA website. 

ATMA score contains both overall and sectional scores. The ATMA scorecard contains sectional scores of all the six sections which are divided into 3 major sections as I and II. 

Note: No hard copy of the ATMA Result or scorecard will be sent by post. The ATMA result will be available on the website and candidates have to download it from there only.

Step 4: Enter your ATMA PID and Password

ATMA 2020 - Answer Key


The answer key will be available on the official website of the examination in the PFD form. Candidate can download and calculate their marks. Separate answer keys are available for different sections.

ATMA 2020 - Cut-Offs


he ATMA 2020 cut-off list is based on the ratio of number of seats and candidates to be admitted for admission in various institutes. Once the result is announced, process of preparing the cut-off list will start by the participating institutes. The cut-off list of ATMA 2020 is prepared on the basis of candidates scores in the exam and on the basis of performance of the candidates in the Group Discussion and Personal Interview. The candidates who meet the ATMA cut-off will get the admission various management courses.


The candidates will be finally selected on the basis of the ATMA score and their performance in Group Discussion and Personal Interview. Candidates who are scoring either equal or more than the cut-off marks can participate in Group Discussion and Personal Interview.

Note: Cut-off list may vary from institute to institute.

ATMA 2020 - Cut-Offs

Ans 1. The language of the question paper will be in English Language.

Ans 2. No, application fee can’t be paid through offline mode, only online mode is acceptable.

Ans 3. No, foreign candidates cannot apply for this examination.

Ans 4. 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.

Ans 5. There will be Online CBT mode in the ATMA Exam.

Ans 6. The pattern is almost similar but the comparison shows ATMA is easier as compared to other MBA entrance exams.

Ans 7. Mat exam held four times in a year, so candidate can attempt number of times.
