Birla Institute of Technology and Science Admission Test (BITSAT) is a national level exam conducted by Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS) Pilani.
BITS, Pilani is a prestigious college in India offering admissions for interested candidates to Integrated First Degree programs offered at BITS campuses in Pilani, Goa, Hyderabad, and Dubai.

BITSAT 2020 - Eligibility Criteria
BITSAT 2020 eligibility conditions vary according to the course the candidate has applied for. BITSAT Eligibility for various disciplines is specified below.
For First degree program (Excluding B.Pharm)
Qualifying Exam: The applicant must have qualified his 10+2 level or an equivalent exam from any recognized board or University.
Qualifying Subjects: Applicant is required to complete 10+2 level exams with the main subjects as Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Also, adequate proficiency in English is required.
Qualifying Marks: Candidates should have an aggregate of 75% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. In each of the subjects, 60% marks is a must.
Appearing: Candidates appearing for 12th level exams are also eligible to apply for BITSAT, 2020.
For Admission into B.Pharm
Qualifying Exam: The applicant must have qualified his 10+2 level or an equivalent exam from any recognized board or University.
Qualifying Subjects: Candidate must have qualified 12th level exams with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology or Mathematics as the main subjects. Also, adequate proficiency in English is required.
Qualifying Marks: Candidates should have an aggregate of 75% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. In each of the subjects, 60% marks is a must.

BITSAT EXAM 2020
Students seeking admission through BITSAT have to compulsorily register for the entrance test by filling the BITSAT 2020 application form online between January 11,2020 and March 31, 2020. Application fees has to be paid along with the filling of the form.
Steps to Apply for BITSAT 2020
To apply for BITSAT 2020 entrance exam the applicant must follow these steps –
Firstly, applicant should open the official website of BITS/BITSAT
Start filling the application form to register for BITSAT 2020. Enter personal, academic and contact details in the required boxes.
After filling all the necessary details, upload scanned photo and signature in the prescribed format as required.
Lastly, pay the application fee either online through credit card/debit card/online banking or in offline mode, as suitable.

BITSAT 2020 Application Form Correction
The exam conducting authority will open an application correction window on 1st of April 2020 to assist the applicants in changing certain details in the BITSAT 2020 Application form. Candidates must note that no change will be possible in the application form of BITSAT 2020 after the last date that is 6th April, 2020.

BITSAT 2020 Admit Card
Applicants can download their admit card from the official website by entering BITSAT Application Number, Date of Birth and Email ID between 20th April 2020 to 12th May 2020.
The admit card includes details such as name of the candidate, Photograph and Signature, application number, test centre details, Test date, Test time, Date of exam, test slot and exam instructions.
In case of any discrepancy or false/wrong information in BITSAT Admit Card, applicant must report to the conducting authority in time for the generation of a new admit card with correct information.
BITSAT 2020 Exam Centers
BITSAT 2020 is scheduled to be conducted in 58 cities across India and an International centre in Dubai, UAE. A candidate may choose a maximum of 3 exam centre preferences. However, those who plan to appear for the test in Dubai centre can set only one preference.

BITSAT 2020 Result
Exam authorities shall release BITSAT 2020 result online at the official website of BITS admissions. It shall be declared in two phases-
The authorities will first declare the score of BITSAT 2020 right after the exam in form of correct answers, incorrect answers and candidate’s total score.
And in the second phase, the authorities shall declare the result in the form of iteration which will consist of the waitlist and admit list.
BITSAT 2020 Cutoff
BITSAT 2020 cutoff is the qualifying marks that an applicant needs to score to be eligible for admissions at the different campuses of BITS. Students willing to take admission through BITSAT 2020 must score equal or greater marks than the cutoff of the exam released by exam authorities. Candidates who score marks lower than this cutoff shall not be considered for admissions.

Ans 9. Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS) conducts the BITSAT examination.
Ans 10. Yes, candidates with PCB in 10+2 are eligible to apply for BITSAT but only for the B.Pharm course. They won’t be able to apply for any other first-degree course offered by the institute.
