IMU CET Exam 2020

IMU CET (Indian Maritime University Common Entrance Test) will be conducted by the Indian Maritime University (IMU). IMU CET is a national level entrance exam organized once in every year to offer admissions into various Under Graduate & Post-Graduate courses. The exam will have separate entrance papers for the various programmes. Admission will be provided in five regional campuses located in Cochin, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai and Visakhapatnam.

IMU CET 2020 Application Process

The University has released the application form for IMU CET 2020 online on its official website. To apply for the entrance exam, aspirants have to first register by entering their basic details like their name, date of birth, category. Once the IMU CET registration is done candidates will receive an email / SMS for the IMU CET login details. Thereafter, candidates have to log in and fill the main application form.

Steps to Apply for IMU CET 2020 Application Form

Refer below all important steps to complete the registration process:

 

Step 1:First of all, candidates have to start with the basic registration by providing in the details such as name, date of birth, email id, mobile number, and so on.

 

Step 2:Next, click on the “Send mobile OTP” button and enter the OTP as received on your phone number.

 

Step 3:After OTP verification, submit the registration form. On doing so, candidate receives the application number and password for IMU CET 2020 login. Remember, the application number works as the user id at the time of login.

 

Step 4: Thereafter, click on the “login” button which appears on the screen and proceed further by proving user id and password.

 

Step 5: Now, candidates have to make the payment of the application fee, provide the details such as educational, personal and test centre choice and upload the images as per the prescribed format.

 

Step 6: Lastly, submit the form and take a print out of it for future reference.

IMU CET 2020 Admit Card Released

The facility to download the IMU CET Hall Ticket 2020 will be provided from third week of May 2020. The examination will be organized in first week of June 2020. The IMU CET Result 2020 will be announced in the second week of June 2020. At the exam centre, the student of IMU CET 2020 shall be provided the original admit card. Only then, you will be able to sit for the exam. Also, keep your admit card properly even after your exam is over as it will be required at the time of admission of the successful candidates

 

Along with the admit card, the candidates will also have to bring along a valid photo ID proof such as your passport, voter id card, pan card, driving license etc.

Steps to download IMU CET 2020 Admit Card

Step 1: Visit the official website.

Step 2: On the right side of the homepage, you will see the “Announcements” section.

Step 3: Choose the “CET Admit Card 2020” link on the “Announcements” section.

Step 4: Fill the details (Application Number and Date of Birth) and submit.

Step 5: Your IMU CET 2020 Admit Card appears on the screen.

Step 6: Take a printout of the same for future use.

Note:  Candidates will be informed about the availability of Admit Cards through email or SMS. Candidates are also advised to visit the website of IMU’s periodically to keep themselves updated on new announcements and changes if any.

IMU CET 2020 Mock Test

IMU CET 2020 Answer Key

 

IMU CET Answer Key 2020 may be released by Indian Maritime University once the entrance exam has been successfully conducted for the candidates who have appeared in the entrance exam. Indian Maritime University does not publish the answer key of IMU CET, however, if the IMU CET answer key 2020 is released, it will be made available on this page. The answer key of IMU CET 2020 will contain the correct responses to questions asked in the entrance examination.


With the help of IMU CET Answer Key, candidates can calculate their probable score, and get a fair idea about their chances of getting admission in the university. Furthermore, to calculate the scores correctly, candidates must know the marking scheme of IMU CET 2020. Candidates are awarded 1 mark for each correct answer and there is no negative marking in the entrance EXAM

IMU CET 2020 Counselling

 

After the declaration of the result, shortlisted candidates have to register for counseling procedures. The online counseling registration will start in June 2020. The online counseling will be limited for admission into IMU campuses only

 

The affiliated institutions will not be included in the online counseling process. Candidates, those qualified the IMU CET 2020 exam may approach the Institution directly. The counseling procedure is given below.

 

Counselling Requirements:

  • The verification of documents will be done from the first week of July to the last week of July 2020.
  • Candidates who are called for counselling are required to register themselves for the counselling process, at the official website of the university
  • Candidates are required to bring their original documents and certificates during counselling. If the applicants fail to bring the required documents and certificates then their admission gets cancelled.
  • Also, note that the applicants are not allowed to bring downloaded mark-sheets and certificates.

  • The counselling session will include document verification, physical fitness clearance and so on.

Ans 2. Candidates must pass 10th and 12th level from any recognized board.

Ans 3. Candidates should have cleared class 12th with a minimum aggregate of 60% in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics. Candidates should have secured at least 50% marks in English.
