The MBA or Master of Business Administration is a competitive course and to enrol in an MBA program one has to pass the entrance test first. Many entrance tests are conducted for admission to management institutes in the country.

MAT February 2020 where the computer-based online examination will be held on February 2 while the offline examination will be held on February 16.
MAT (MBA) Exam 2020 Registration
All India Management Association (AIMA) has invited applications by issuing notifications for admission to the Management Aptitude Test (MAT-2020). After qualifying this national level examination, candidates can take admission in various management courses like MBA and PGDM, etc. This examination is conducted four times a year in February, May, September, and December. MAT scores are also considered for admission in various business schools across the country. The test will be taken on the basis of the paper-based test (PBT) and computer-based test (CBT).
MAT (MBA) Exam 2020 Exam Dates
Management Aptitude Test will be conducted in February 2020. The registration process for MAT February 2020 exam has started. For computer-based MAT examination, one can apply online till 26 January while for the MAT pen-paper examination, apply online by 9 February. Keep in mind that the application process is online only. The special thing is that both options have been given to the candidates to take the exam. Candidates can either take the exam with a pen-paper or take a computer-based examination. While the computer-based online examination will be held on February 2, 2020, the offline examination will be held on February 16.
It is mandatory to get a graduation degree from a recognized university or institute. Such candidates who are studying in the final year of graduation are also eligible to apply.
This will include a total of five sections. Mathematical Skills, Intelligence and Critical Reasoning, Indian and Global Environment, Data Analysis and Security and Language Comprehension. The duration of the examination will be two and a half hours, in which a total of 200 questions will be asked. It has a provision for negative marking.
MAT (MBA) Exam 2020 Eligibility Criteria
It is usually necessary for a student to be a graduate from a recognized university in any discipline to appear for the MBA entrance examination. In some entrance examinations, the candidate has to be at least 50 percent number in graduation. If a student is in the last year of graduation and is taking the exam, then he can also apply for it.

MAT (MBA) Exam 2020 Application Fees
Before applying for the exam, students should make sure that they are eligible for it. The usually online application can be made for the exam. After that, the students have to fill the online application form. Necessary documents, signatures, and photographs have to be uploaded. The examination fee usually ranges from Rs 1000 to Rs 3000. The payment of examination fee includes credit card/debit card, bank challan, bank demand draft, depositing cash at respective fee counters.
Steps to Apply for MAT (MBA) Exam 2020
The application fee for taking the exam in both modes is Rs 1550. At the same time, the candidates who want to take the exam in both online and offline mode will have to pay a fee of Rs 2650. Candidates will be able to register with the help of email ID, scan photograph, scan signature.

MAT (MBA) Exam 2020 New Exam Pattern
There will be a total of 200 questions in the exam paper in MAT 2020, which will have been given 150 minutes to complete i.e. the total time will be 150 minutes.
MAT (MBA) Exam 2020 Marking Scheme
A marking scheme has also been prescribed for them in which 1 mark will be given for each correct question and if any answer is given incorrectly 1/4 mark will be deducted. There will be a total of 5 sections in this question paper and there will be 4 options for each question and one of these 4 options will have to choose the right option. And its mode will be offline or computer-based.

Every college in India determines the cutoff according to its fixed seats, i.e MAT cutoff is different for each institute. Many colleges determine the cutoff based on group discussion and personal interview.
