Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET) is a state level entrance exam conducted by Anna University situated in Chennai, India on behalf of the Govt. of Tamil Nadu. The exam is conducted once every year, for admission in various programmes such as MTech/ MArch/ MPlan/ ME, MBA and MCA.
Over 200+ colleges in Tamil Nadu accept TANCET scores. The exam takes place in almost 15 cities of Tamil Nadu and around 17,500 MBA seats are provided through the TANCET MBA entrance exam.
It is one of the Top-most entrance exams of Tamil Nadu, which is conducted online through computer-based mode.

TANCET 2021 - Eligibility Criteria
Eligibility criteria for TANCET EXAM 2021, candidates have to fill details regarding age and educational qualification in order to be eligible for the exam. Verification of the eligibility criteria of the candidates will be done at the time of admission only.
If any candidate is found to be not eligible then he/she will not be entitled for the admission. The details of eligibility criteria are given below.
To be qualified for applying for TANCET 2021, a candidate needs to fulfil qualification rules:
Candidates for MBA and MCA programmes should have completed his/her graduation from a recognised institute or university in any discipline and in any related stream to that course.
For all other programmes, applicants should have completed their BTech/BE from a recognised institute or university in the relevant field and discipline.
For the candidates who have completed their 10+2+AMIE or 10+3 years diploma which has been awarded by the State Board of Technical Education and AMIE are also eligible to sit in the TANCET 2021 exam.
Candidate must have obtained at least 50 percent aggregate marks (open category) and 45 per cent( for other category) in the Bachelor’s degree exam
Candidates who are currently in their final year of their graduation are also eligible to apply in TANCET 2021.
There is no age constraint in the TANCET 2021.
TANCET 2021 - Application Form
The application form for TANCET 2021 for the 2021 session has already been started from January 2021. Before filling up the form the candidate must read the eligibility criteria prior to filling up the application form. The last date to apply for TANCET 2021 is 16th February, 2021.
How to Apply for IPU CET 2020
Following mentioned are the steps to fill TANCET 2021 Application Form
Step 1- Go to the official website of TANCET (https://tancet.annauniv.edu/tancet/index.html).
Step 2 – Login yourself in the portal and fill all your details accurately such as personal details and academic details.
Step 3- Candidate select there course in which he/she want to apply. Also, choose an examination centre according to your convenience.
Step 4- Upload all necessary documents like signature, candidate’s passport size picture all in required format.
Step 5- After filling all details, candidates must have to pay the fees to complete the admission process for paying the Application fee payment Go to the Online Fee Payment tab under the TANCET Online Exam tab Portal. An application fee of INR Rs. 600/- including GST for General and INR 300 for reserved categories students. The TANCET Exam Fee includes the registration fee and application form fee must be paid using Debit or Credit card both.
Step 6- After filling check all details carefully and note down the application number that is generated after successful registration for future reference.
Step 7- Take the print out of the duly filled application form.

TANCET 2021 - Reservation Criteria
No particular reservations are there for the TANCET Exam. Only relaxation is given to the reserved category students which is 5% relaxation is given to SC/ST/PWD competitors and 50 % concession in application fee for reserved category students.
TANCET 2021 - Admit card
TANCET 2021 entrance exam has been released by the conducting body. Admit card on its official website almost one week before the exam. The candidates need to download admit using the login credentials which is already provided during the Application process. If in any case the admit card gets lost, the candidate can apply for the duplicate admit card by paying INR 100 through demand draft in Anna university.

TANCET 2021 – Result
Anna University announced the TANCET 2021 results on its official website on April 1, 2021. Candidates who took the exam can check and download their results on TANCET’s official website. Candidates will get their TANCET scorecards by going to Anna University’s official website and entering their login credentials.
Candidates must now take a hard copy of their TANCET mark sheet after the TANCET 2021 result is announced, as it will be requested during TANCET counselling, and keep it until the admission process is completed.
The TANCET 2021 mark sheet will be available for download starting April 8 and will last until April 22. Candidates who meet the qualifications would be required to engage in the TANCET counselling process.
