Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi (also known as IIT Delhi) is a government technical university located near Hauz Khas, New Delhi. It is one of the oldest IIT established in India and holds prestigious value in the educational sector of India.
Established in 1961, the institute was formerly known as College of Engineering, Delhi. Later, the college was declared as the institute of National Importance under the “Institutes of Technology Act, 1963”.

IIT Delhi - Sonipat Campus
Announced by the Chief Minister of Haryana in June 2012, IITD will set up its campus in Sonipat. This campus was established in Technopark at Rajiv Gandhi Education City, Sonipat and commenced in the year 2012. This campus focuses on courses like Development programs for Engineering, Design and Executive MBA.
IIT Delhi - Jhajjar Campus
The Jhajjar Campus of IIT Delhi is located next to AIIMS Delhi - Jhajjar campus at Badsa Village, Haryana. Both the campuses together are setting up a Biometrical Research Park within this campus.
The admission procedure in IIT of all courses is based on a two-step process. One needs to qualify the Class 12th Boards Examination and must have required marks in JEE Advanced. Admissions are done on the basis of rank in JEE Advance continue through JoSAA Counselling.

Candidates applying in B.Tech should at least 75% aggregate marks in Class 12th for the general category and 65% marks for SC/ST candidates. The candidates should clear JEE Advanced and have a valid AIR rank.

Candidates applying in M.Sc are required to have at least 55% aggregate marks or 5.5 CGPA/CPI for General/OBC/EWS category candidates in the qualifying degree.

For M.Sc.
